General Cargo Security Awareness Training

The government has established security requirements for cargo and mail acceptance on passenger and cargo aircraft. These requirements ensure that cargo and mail, from any source, will undergo appropriate security measures before being loaded on a aircraft.

Security of your company customers, facilities, employees and air lines aircraft is the main focus of compliance to the Security Program. You are the first line of security. Cargo Security: Your Company must ensure each direct employee and authorized representative who performs or directly supervises the acceptance, inspection or screening of cargo is trained. The employees and authorized representatives need only receive training in subject areas that correspond to their assigned duties and responsibilities.
